I have closed clients from the system and these clients have become a source for other referrals not coming thru the system, but directly from the client. Persistence in follow up and getting back to the referrals quickly: I cannot emphasize that enough. I haven't used a lot [of the additional tools available] but the ones I have are effective. I am going to designate a person to assist me with utilizing more and more of the systems. |

I contacted other agents who had belonged for a year or so and got encouraging reports of great success stories. I am not an impulsive person, nor do I make a decision on the spur of the moment, so after some days of thought, I decided to join. I have not regretted it for one moment. Incidentally, I have not joined any other offers of web site exposure since Relocate-America even though the offers pour in every day. I have had a number of sales each year directly attributable to my Relocate-America site. I earn many times over what the program costs. About 3-months ago, an out-of-town investor was looking for an agent to work with in my area. They just entered my city name and my Relocate-America Web site came up in first position. They figured I was the agent to work with in this area. Well, I found them the perfect (unlisted) property near the college to build an upscale townhouse development. The sale price: $1,100,000. The paperwork is all bottom lined. It won’t close until all the plans clear township approval but what a nice pay-day to look forward to! They have inspired me to take my business to a higher level. Their support staff has always been there for me, especially with the new changes that have come about for a quick email response back to the client. Over the many years that I have been a member, I have always made it my goal to respond as quickly as possible. In our competitive business, I find if I'm the first to respond, clients are impressed and end up working with me. I always try to understand their sense of urgency. I'm there for them when they arrive and I stick with them until I put them back on the plane. Not all leads workout. It's up to me to communicate and find out how serious their move will be. Are they just thinking about it or do they need to be here to start work next month. If you ask enough questions, you may even get the outgoing referral on the home that they are leaving. You will only get what you give in this business and persistence pays off. |

The really big deal is a Builder from another city contacted us a couple weeks ago about breaking into the market here. They are coming in town Wednesday to check out some sites we've researched and suggested. The lots are over $100,000 and we would sell the homes they build which will be in the $400,000 - $600,000 range! One more success story... our Relocate America out of towner that bought last weekend went to a lender who happened to have just been transferred here to manage this territory for the company. He's very nice, we've hit it off, he doesn't have an established Realtor relationship with anyone yet... so we're it! He just asked if we would be the Realtor present at a Buyer Seminar the end of March! All as a result of Relocate America! |
