Located in central Marshall County, Alabama, is the City of Guntersville – currently celebrating its 150th anniversary, making it one of the oldest cities in the state. Named after an ancestor of comic-philosopher Will Rogers, Guntersville is located on a peninsula with the Tennessee River to the north and large lake on its east and west side.
