With a wide mixture of corporations and luxurious homes, the majority of Near North Side residents are under 50 and have a high household income. With the abundance of tourists and commuters, there isn’t the same close-knit atmosphere as many of Chicago’s other neighborhoods.

Spanning eight blocks, the Magnificent Mile is an attraction for both residents and tourists. Featuring some of the most exclusive designers, boutiques and retailers in the world, the ‘Mile’ also features hundreds of some of Chicago’s best entertainment and dining. Stop and see a show or musical, take one of the many cruises, visit the famous Navy Pier, watch the weekly fireworks display or stop by the Museum of Contemporary Art. Goudy Square Park is The Gold Coast neighborhood’s park, complete with wrought iron fences and a playground.
