Uptown RelocationAbout UptownBuena Park, Sheridan Park, Little Chinatown  A popular tourist attraction, Uptown includes many nightclubs, restaurants and shops. Over the past few years the community has undergone some transformations bringing in more residents. Uptown Housing Renovations to many of the homes in Uptown and Sheridan Park have attracted more buyers, turning this neighborhood into a a more residential community for young people. This influx has been met with a surge of renovations in its Historical District and Buena Park’s suburban feel has attracted more families. Uptown Culture Little Chinatown is actually home to a large number of the city’s Vietnamese and Cambodian residents, making this a great place to find an Asian grocery store or restaurant. Uptown Recreation Montrose and Foster Beach are the community’s two public beaches. Montrose Beach includes a dog beach and Montrose Harbor, home to the Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club and Marina. Lincoln Park proper is also located in Uptown, where you’ll find athletic fields, a bicycle and running path and the Waveland Golf Course. |
