Gage Park Relocation

About Gage Park

Englewood, Hamilton Park

Once a large mix of Irish and Eastern European immigrants, Gage Park is now home to a large number of Hispanics. The neighborhood consists mostly of blue-collared families with young children.

Gage Park Housing

The housing stock in Gage Park is primarily brick bungalows and ranch-style houses; the average house runs about $100,000.

Gage Park Culture

The Eastern European influence is still prominent throughout the neighborhood’s architecture, while the Hispanic influence is seen in many of the local shops, delis and bakeries. This is a close-knit community, who has worked very hard to keep their streets safe by forming neighborhood groups.

Gage Park Recreation

Additionally, there is plenty of shopping here, but not too many chain stores. Here you’ll find Gage Park proper, Oakley Park and Senka Park, complete with baseball diamonds, tennis courts, outdoor swimming, gyms and walking and biking trails.
