Dublin is a bedroom community that has been improving rapidly in the last few years. Some of the first settlers to arrive in Dublin, in the 1860's, were Irish & from these settlers, Dublin got it's name. Dublin was nothing more than a couple of stores and a few homes, the residents as late as 1960 numbering no more than 250. Now, population exceeds 25,000 & the town covers 8.5 square miles. The town's Clover Leaf symbol continues to reflect its Irish roots, along with the yearly St. Patrick Day's Festival. Dublin History During the past twenty years, the rapidly expanding Tri-Valley area has become renowned as a place of prosperity, a center for internationally acclaimed business parks and home to some of the world's largest corporations. The City of Dublin, located at the crossroads of the Tri-Valley, has contributed to the planned growth and forward thinking of the area.
