Welcome to the City of Galt. We are located in Northern California, in the heart of the Delta Recreation Area and one of the Central Valley's fastest growing communities. We offer affordable housing and a small town atmosphere perfect for raising young families as well as a great opportunity for new businesses.

We are well known in Northern California for our Galt Market held every Tuesday and Wednesday. The Galt Market is known for the great deals on fresh fruits and vegetables, clothing, home furnishings and much more. Look for our annual Strawberry Festival in the Spring and the Dairy Festival in the summer.

Galt is very near all types of recreation. It is 30 minutes from Sacramento, 30 minutes from Stockton, approximately 90 minutes from San Francisco and approximately 120 minutes from Lake Tahoe. As you can see you would live within a easy drive to just about any type of recreation.
