It is a very exciting time for both residents and business owners. The City of Commerce City is a place of great recreational and business opportunities. Excellent business opportunities are due to the continuing growth, proximity to the Denver International Airport and an established industrial base. There are also various recreational amenities in Commerce City, which is part of the Denver-metropolitan area, including a large recreation center and the new award winning Buffalo Run Golf course. The Rocky Mountain National Wildlife Refuge, which borders Commerce City, will soon be a destination for international visitors. Even with a recent increase in residential growth the sense of community is still evident in Commerce City.
