Eagle was established in 1887 and incorporated in 1905. It was traditionally a ranching community but continues to grow residentially and commercially. The town is home to the U.S. and Colorado Forest Services, Colorado Division of Wildlife, the Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce, a public library, a public golf course, one elementary and one middle school and several acres of parks! Eagle has a mix of older, historical homes and more contemporary homes with lovely views of the mountains. The community is a safe place to call home with many activities for the family such as the Flight Days festival in June and Christmas on Broadway each December. It's also just a short trip to world-famous ski and golf resorts and the Eagle County Airport in Gypsum with destinations to a dozen major cities throughout the US.
