Recreation
The D.L. Parsons theatre presents performances and films for citizens of all ages including Magical Mornings Theatre for young children, Break Escape Performances for school age children and Travel & Adventure films for adults. Family performances include musical productions by the Northglenn Youth Theatre and Missoula Children’s Theatre and an outstanding summer concert series.

Several performing arts opportunities are available for youth who want to participate in live theatre. The Northglenn Youth Theatre auditions children ages 8-18 each spring and fall for large-scale musical productions. Every January and June the theatre hosts the internationally acclaimed Missoula Children’s Theatre Touring Company where children ages 6-18 can audition for a o­ne-hour musical production. Additionally, youth dance and acting classes are offered year round in cooperation with the Northglenn Recreation Center.

The D.L. Parsons Theatre is home to several community groups including the North Stage Players and the Northland Chorale who provide o­ngoing opportunities for adult participation.

Webster Lake, located at E. B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park, is a 10 acre lake characterized by a shallow lake bottom, shoreline and a fishery stocked by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Numerous aquatic plant species provide a quality ecosystem, which adds to the more natural lake setting and an improved aesthetic quality. We invite you to come to Webster Lake and experience a day of fishing, walking, or renting paddleboats.

The "All About Art Festival" is a visual, culinary, performing arts event focused on community diversity (age, ability/disability, and culture). This one-day event features on-site 30 different performing arts groups, juried visual art, a kids stage and artist demonstration area where people can learn how to make instruments, paint faces, etc. This event takes place at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park. Take the day, bring your family and enjoy on of the most diverse festivals in the north metro area.
