The Front Range of the Colorado Rockies frames the city's western side, providing unlimited hiking and biking opportunities. Woodmoor schools, and indeed all of Colorado's schools are renowned throughout the country for being the best. Schools are extremely safe and secure in this region. Teachers love to move to this area because of the great benefits and the ideal teaching conditions. There are many choices when it comes to education as well. Not only public, but private and parochial schools too. Peterson Air Force Base, Fort Carson, Schriever Air Force Base, North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the Air Force Academy are all located in the region, and they bring in the majority of the financial growth and stability for the area, as well as providing the majority of employment for the region. Denver is not far though, and a commute to the city is not out of the question. Looking for a home in Woodmoor? You'll find what you're looking for and at a price that is affordable for the area.
