Stonington is located along the southeastern Connecticut shoreline. We have a large boating community, with many sailors, power boaters, and commercial fishermen. Our shoreline is very picturesque, running along Little Narragansett Bay, Fishers Island Sound, the Mystic River, and Long Island Sound. Stonington Borough has become the retreat for many famous authors and poets, and is known for its' many antique shops.
