Port Saint Joe is a community located in Gulf County southeast of Panama City between Panama City and Apalachicola along US Hwy 98 near St Joseph Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The town is described in the following manner, it "has a growing local economy, great city services, friendly people, great schools, and a secure atmosphere."

The sugar-sand beaches to the south of the county, situated with freshwater fishing Mecca's and a rich history as the site of Florida's first Constitution Convention, make Port St Joe worth exploring.
