The Villages is a 55+ retirement community located in Central Florida, about 20 miles south of Ocala and 60 miles northwest of Orlando. This Golf Cart Community is designed specifically for The Villages' Residents to be able to drive their carts anywhere throughout the community with ease and convenience, including across US27/US441. The community has proven to be very popular, within the past 6 years, over 18,000 new residents have moved to The Villages and is expected to reach over 100 thousand by 2010.
