Population is approaching 15,000 permanent residents. There are 6 world class tennis courts next door in Wailea where the golf courses and tennis is located. Wailea abuts Kihei and is a gorgeous low-density resort development with condo's and hotels.

Kihei is a definite tourist destination along with Wailea. Fishing and boating and snorkeling and scuba diving abound along with golf, tennis, fine dining and shopping and simply enjoying a #1 Hawaiian city. Kihei is incredible! Kihei residences start at about $190,000 and go up over $1 million or more. Condominiums start at $165,000 and can go as high as $1 million or more in Wailea (Wailea Point has a $2 million listing at present.)
