Lahaina and Kaanapali are almost one and the same. The ocean temperature is 72 to 77 degrees in the winter and 77 to 81 degrees in the summer. Our air temperature is coolest at 71 degrees and hottest at 78 degrees on the average. There is golf, tennis, water sports, boating and fishing along with fine dining and shopping and wonderful lodging in major hotels and condominiums in the area. Lahaina is world renowned and a tourist must.

Lahaina is blessed with about 16 inches of rain per year. There are several small communities north of Lahaina and Kaanapali, but the most notable one is Kapalua, where it is cooler and a little more rainy, yet considered the elite area of Maui and the Lahaina end of the island (Lahaina being the northwest end of Maui) and Kapalua way north and west on the ocean. Kapalua boasts two incredible Bays side by side (Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay), both incredibly beautiful with swimming beaches and other water sports.
