Pearl City is situated approximately 10 miles west of Honolulu between Aiea to its east and Waipahu to its west. Home to approximately 50,000 residents, Pearl City has its own schools, shopping, parks and police station. It has easy access to both H-1 and H-2 freeways. Pearl City High School has the largest marching band in the state and can often be seen in the Rose Bowl Parade. Leeward Community College opened in 1972 in Pearl City and shares its campus with West Oahu College. Pearl City offers a wide variety of housing options from senior housing to single family homes and a central location convenient to all areas of Oahu. |
