Nampa is located close enough to Boise to take advantage of all the amenities offered there yet far enough away that the small town feel is still maintained. As Nampa grows we a attracting many National chains in the shopping and restaurant arena, as well as three golf courses. Soon we won't find it necessary to venture over to Boise. Housing prices are still affordable out here and recreation is easily accessible. All of this contributes to a way of life that can't be matched in a "big city".
