The city of Greenwood lies just 12 miles from the center of Indianapolis. The area is accessible by U.S. 31 and U.S. 37 as well as Interstates 465, running east and west north of the Greenwood area and 65 that runs north and south from Indianapolis to Louisville, Kentucky. All major trucking companies and railroads service it. Air travelers are 15 miles or 25 minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport. Smaller airplanes may land right in Greenwood!
