Population: 38,825 Located in Hamilton County
Located just minutes north of Indianapolis, Noblesville has, along with its neighbors Carmel and Fisher, become one of the fastest-growing and desirable towns in which to live. Our local economy is thriving despite the national challenging economic climate. With easy access, with plenty of freeways, and a convenient distance to Indianapolis, Noblesville has much to offer new residents. Unlike many small cities, we have a thriving historic downtown district. On the east side of town, our new Corporate Campus is growing quickly with a mix of retail, industrial, office, and residential components. The campus features the new Hamilton Town Center, Indiana's largest outdoor mall, which opened in May 2008. In the summer of 2009, SMC Corporation, the world's largest manufacturer of pneumatic automation products, will open their new headquarters in Noblesville and will bring over 275 new jobs to the area. EnerDel, which develops lithium ion battery solutions that will improve the performance, fuel efficiency and cost of Hybrid Electric Vehicles; Perkins Logistics and Specialized Transportation; and a large retirement facility are just some of the new businesses starting up or relocating to Noblesville. Noblesville is fortunate to offer a variety of available housing in all price ranges. Whether you're looking to build a new home, purchase a lovely historic home, find a new apartment, live in a condominium, or retire in style, the city has many residential opportunities. Meticulously maintained neighborhoods look out onto streets shaded by mature trees. Homes range from one-bedroom homes in the range of $60,000 to million-dollar homes along Morse Reservoir. Individual attention and expectations stand as the cornerstone of Noblesville’s successful public and private school system. Noblesville Schools are almost consistently rated as four-star schools by the State of Indiana, and one of our elementary schools, Hazel Dell, was recently rated as a Blue Ribbon School by the federal government. Noblesville High School has been named a "Best Buy" high school for the ninth straight year by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. Many county high schools offer adult education classes for college credit, and Noblesville is just a half hour away from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Ivy Tech, and Anderson University. This is a community that prides itself on its "family atmosphere." Children and adults have many options for recreational activity, including sports for all ages. Our library offers strong cultural and reading programs. Our community features four City parks and two County parks. The City's oldest and largest park is 150-acre Forest Park, established in 1925. Our newest park, established in 2007, is the Dr. James A. Dillon Park, approximately 77 acres of beautiful ground with a playground, a shelter, multi-purpose playing fields, a concession stand, a spray park and trails. Noblesville inhabitants also take full advantage of being close to the museums, music venues, theaters and shops of Indianapolis. Noblesville is a wonderful choice to live, especially if you’re looking for a larger home close to the Indianapolis area. When you see the area's natural beauty, and consider the low cost of living, you'll want to make Noblesville your home. |
