This partnership of Ivy Tech State College and Vincennes University focuses on both non-degree, skill improvement courses as well as two-year degrees, with greater opportunity to transfer course credits to four-year state universities. The new Community College stresses accessible and affordable education, training and support services. Vincennes University is a residential, comprehensive community school. The school offers Associate in Science, Associate in Arts, and Associate in Applied Science degrees. The University's programs of study are divided into two basic categories: academic transfer and occupational education. These programs of study are offered through eight instructional divisions. More than 5,000 students are served on the Vincennes campus of VU each year. The university also has sites in Jasper, Indianapolis, Elkhart and across the state.
