The annual Southwest Kansas Pro-Am is held in August at these two exceptional golf courses. Two happenings in Garden City that attract thousands of people are the 3i Show and Beef Empire Days. The 3i Show, an irrigation, implement, and industry trade show, brings together hundreds of agriculture businessmen for this event. Beef Empire Days, a twelve day event hosted for over 25 years by the cattle industry, functions as an educational celebration about beef and promotes interaction between cattlemen and the public.
