Valley Center is a suburban community located immediately north of Wichita, KS in Sedgwick county and is situated between Interstate 135 on the east and the Little Arkansas River on the west. With a population of 5,000 Valley Center offers excellent educational and recreational facilities in a small town atmosphere. While you are in Valley Center you can watch little league sports, visit the Historical Museum browse through the Edna Buschow Memorial Library, visit the city's parks or enjoy a summer musical production of the Valley Players.

Just east of town are the Kansas Coliseum which provides a panorama of entertainment for the entire family, and the Wichita Greyhound Park. Additional entertainment and healthcare facilities, as well as five colleges and universities, can be found in nearby Wichita and Newton.
