Yealey grades K-5; Collins grades K-5 and Stephens grades K-5. There are four junior high schools, Union Middle School grades 6-8 (complete in 1994); Ockerman grades 6-8, Conner grades 6-8, and R.A. Jones grades 6-8. Three senior high schools, Boone County, Conner and Ryle are available for grades 9-12. The Walton-Verona Independent School system is also available with grades 1-12. Also through the Boone County Vocational School you have technical training for high school students as well as adults. Parochial schools in the county are elementary St. Paul's, Mary Queen of Heaven, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and St. Joseph's Academy, all with grades 1-6. For high schools there are St. Henry and Villa Madonna, co-ed; Covington Catholic Boys School and Notre Dame Academy for girls, the last two served with city bus service. Calvary Christian School grades 1-12 co-ed is also available with private school bus pick up. Heritage Academy is also available with limited grades.
