In addition to these wonderful historical sites, Lincoln Parish is also famous for the nationally acclaimed mountain bike trails at Lincoln Parish Park and the fabulous fishing at the three state park lakes surrounding the parish: Lake Claiborne, Lake D'Arbonne and Caney Lake. Throughout the winter months there is the occasional dusting of snow, but summer time brings temperatures soaring up to the eighties and nineties with occasional readings into the one hundred degree range.
