Population: 13,100 Located in Harford County

Aberdeen is located in Harford County's "Bay Corridor" which contains the County's earliest settlements along Philadelphia Road (MD Route 7); Pulaski Highway (U.S.Route 40); and Interstate I-95.

Aberdeen is a designated "All America City" and home to the US Army Aberdeen Proving Ground (More unexpectedly, it is also home to a thriving population of bald eagles). The U.S. Army Ordnance Museum, with its astonishing collection of military hardware is also here. With a life-style closely integrated with the nearby military base, it is popular with first-time home buyers who can choose among a variety of housing styles at a modest cost.

Transportation is excellent as Aberdeen is located between I-95 and Route 40. An Amtrak station provides excellent service from Washington or New York and is also available for commuters to Baltimore and Washington, D.C.

Day-to-day shopping is close by with Regional Malls at Bel Air and White Marsh. Both civilians and military personnel alike benefit from the many water sports associated with the Chesapeake Bay

Ripken Professional Baseball has brought a Single A professional baseball team to Aberdeen. The Ironbirds are a member of the NY-Penn League and played their inaugural season in the state of the art Ripken Stadium. Wait till you see it!
