Reisterstown Maryland is located in the Northwest section of Baltimore County and is well served by an intricate rail system, a state-of-the-art port facility and a rapidly growing international airport. Additionally, the county is a hub for three major East-Coast Interstate Systems, I-95, I-83 and I-70.

There are two four-year colleges in the county: Goucher College and Towson State University. In addition, the Baltimore County campus of the University of Maryland (UMBC) and Johns Hopkins University are approximately 25-30 minutes from Reisterstown.

Reisterstown is an old community, founded in 1758, that is undergoing a Renaissance. While preserving the historical flavor of the town, the surrounding area is being redeveloped.
