Attleboro, a small manufacturing city covering 28.29 square miles, is known as the birthplace of the jewelry industry in New England. We have a Public Library, Sturdy Memorial Hospital, a YMCA, the Attleboro Museum (Center for the Arts) and the Industrial Museum. Attleboro is the home of the Capron Park Zoo, which features in addition to animals and our "signature" polar bear, a nocturnal exhibit and a tropical rain forest. The city is also the site of the new Balfour Riverwalk Park. Attleboro has one high school, three middle schools, five elementary schools and four private schools. We have 640 acres of conservation land and are a part of the Ten Mile River Watershed Alliance.

Attleboro is also home to the LaSalette Shrine whose Christmas light display draws people from all over the Northeast. Attleboro is in close proximity to Foxboro Stadium, which is the home of the New England Patriots and the New England Revolution (soccer). The Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts (Mansfield), the Emerald Square Mall (North Attleboro), the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets Mall (Wrentham), eight public golf courses and dozens of churches are all in the area. Attleboro is a growing city with a strong sense of community.
