Dighton is in southeastern Massachusetts, 40 miles south of Boston and 13 miles east of Providence. It's a rural economic center and the location of the Bristol County Agricultural High School and Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School. Rehoboth is one of Massachusetts's oldest and most historic towns. It was first established in 1643, originally a part of the Plymouth Colony. Rehoboth was the birthplace of public education in North America and today still has an excellent educational system The town of 6,175 is a mixture of suburban and rural settings with a strong industrial presence.
