Holyoke, like the rest of Massachusetts has seen many changes and the city itself has undergone many facelifts in the over 300 years it has been in existence. This project has transformed the High School into a campus setting with the McKenzie field Improvement completed, and Pouliot Pool and Fitzpatrick's Skating Rink nearby. Starting several years ago with just a few budding traffic islands around the city, the 'Adopt-an-Island' program has added a colorful touch to the natural resources and varied geology that greets people as they travel around Holyoke.. This great City of Holyoke is evolving at an unprecedented pace; it is at break neck speed to improve. This improvement is inclusive of quality of life, as well as of image.
