North Attleboro is located in Southeastern Massachusetts, bordered by Plainville on the north; Mansfield on the east; Attleboro on the south; and Cumberland, RI on the west. It is 32 miles southwest of Boston and 12 miles north of Providence. Interstate 95 provides access to Logan International Airport (Boston) and Interstate 295 provides access to T.F. Green Airport (Providence). Interstate 95 also forms an interchange with Interstate 495 on the border of the neighboring towns of Mansfield and Foxboro. Interstate 495 also provides access to Interstate 90 to the northwest and to U.S. Route 6 and the Mid-Cape Highway to the southeast. U.S. Route 1 bisects the Town of North Attleboro. There are two commuter rail stations in neighboring Attleboro.

North Attleboro, a small industrial town, covers 19.06 square miles. The town was founded in 1669 by John Woodcock whose house is still standing and is open to visitors. It has a Public Library, its own municipal Electric Department, the Hockomock YMCA (regional) and it is the site of a National Fish Hatchery. North Attleboro has one high school, one middle school, six elementary schools, one private school and is a member of both the Tri County Regional Vocational Technical and Bristol County Agricultural School districts. It has 597 acres of conservation land including the World War I Memorial Park, which features a petting zoo. North Attleboro is the home of the Emerald Square Mall and is in close proximity to the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets Mall (Wrentham). Foxboro Stadium, home of the New England Patriots and the New England Revolution (soccer), the Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts (Mansfield), eight public golf courses and dozens of churches. North Attleboro is a growing community.
