Sandwich has easy access to Route 6 and Sagamore Bridge. Residents enjoy wonderful indoor recreation with the Sandwich School pool. In addition, Sandwich has many beautiful walking trails and bike trails. Many residents enjoy rollerblading along the Cape Cod Canal, fishing or watching boats pass by. Sandwich has several well known Private and Public Golf Courses, some with great winter golfing (usually less snow on the Cape).

Sandwich is home to The Old Grist Mill on the shore of Shawme Pond, Daniel Webster Inn and hundreds of elegant old colonial homes gracing the lush landscape. Many newer developments of single family homes as well as townhouse style condominium complexes can also be found in Sandwich. Shops and galleries along Main Street make for good shopping. You can also pick cultivated blueberries from farms that grow blueberries, raspberries and assorted apples trees.
