In the fall, color tours are a popular activity, and in the winter, we offer the finest skiing in the Midwest at Boyne Highlands at Nub’s Nob. We also offer a network of snowmobile and cross-country ski trails. Economically, Harbor Springs is thriving. The Harbor Springs Chamber of Commerce boasts of membership of more than 400 businesses, including more than 100 shops, boutiques and galleries in the downtown’s Central Business District. We are also seeing dramatic increase in the number of "virtual" offices, people who are living in Harbor Springs and working out of their home for big city corporations. Because of the town’s upscale image, we are also blessed with many outstanding restaurants and gourmet shops. Harbor Springs Public Schools are equipped with modern technology, and a dedicated staff.
