Lansing is a very diverse city. Educational opportunities include Michigan State University (MSU) and Lansing Community College. Academic opportunities for personal interests or a Ph.D. are available. Sports interests include MSU teams and the Lansing "Lugnuts" minor league baseball team at Oldsmobile Park downtown. Lansing museums include R.E. Olds, Impression 5 Children's Museum, Michigan State Historical Museum, MSU museum, Turner/Dodge Mansion. Other places of interest are Potter's Park Zoo which enthralls visitors young and old, a couple of nature centers and a planetarium. There is always something to do.

Lansing is located in the south central part of Michigan and is the State Capital. The City has a population of 127,321 according to the 1990 Census. The Lansing area is proud of nearby Lansing Community College, Michigan State University, Oldsmobile Division of GM which will be celebrating their 100th anniversary in 1997, our Lansing Center Convention facility and the Lansing Lugnuts Class A baseball team in beautiful Oldsmobile Park. Just down and around the corner is the R.E. OLD's Museum too!

Lansing is undergoing a number of major downtown economic development projects and is renovating its "Old Town" in the northern section of the city with many exciting developments. Lansing is an ideal place in which to live, work and raise a family and has some of the most affordable housing available in the United States.
