The Crosby-Ironton, Deerwood area is located in North Central Minnesota on the Cuyuna Iron Range. The open pits reach depths of 600' and have been abandoned several years ago and since have filled with spring fed crystal water, creating a Mecca for scuba divers and a haven for trout fishing. The area is surrounded by many beautiful spring fed lakes with norway pines and birch trees. The area has virtually no unemployment with TrusJoist MacMillan, Riverwood International, Parker Hannifin, Magnan Machines and many other businesses. Being only 20 minutes from the Whitefish Chain of Lakes and two hours from the Twin Cities this area has become a prime tourist and relocation area.
