Fridley, Minnesota
Population: 29,000
Located in Anoka County
The City of Fridley is a first tier suburb of Minneapolis which sits poised on the east bank of the Mississippi River. Originally incorporated as the County of Manomin, it became an official part of Anoka County in 1869. Monamin's name was changed to Fridley in 1879. This progressive area, although almost entirely built-up, is subject to aggressive renewal projects which present an ever changing face to the City. Numerous parks, lakes and recreation areas, coupled with industrial parks, easy access to transportation, both private and public education institutions, and close proximity to the cultural and entertainment opportunities afforded by the Twin Cities, make Fridley a desirable place to call HOME!
