Lino Lakes is served by the #12/Centennial School District. Included are the Centennial Sr High, new state-of-the-art Centennial Middle School, the new Rice Creek Elementary, Golden Lake Elementary, Centerville Elementary, and Centennial Elementary. Lino Lakes is a sprawling community offering a wonderful array of wildlife, lakes and parks. A superior trail system winds it's way through nice neighborhoods and scenic wetlands. It's an awesome place for walking, biking or rollerblade fun. Deer, fox, geese and great Blue Herons are common. The massive Rice Creek Park reserve stretches the length of the city. It includes numerous lakes, beaches and a super golf course.
The Centennial School District has been admired nationally. It includes 4 elementary schools and a new state-of-the-art middle school. Centennial High School has received the National School of Excellence Award.
The huge indoor shopping malls are within 15 minutes. Lino Lakes is only 20-25 minutes of downtown St. Paul or Minneapolis. Summers are for golfing, swimming, boating and strolling on the trails. Winters are for skating, skiing and snowmobiling on miles of groomed trails.
