The North Branch area provides many avenues of recreation, including the brand new Sunrise Prairie Trail. This trail runs north and south through North Branch along the abandoned Burlington Northern Railway Bed. It's a part of a larger concept that may involve a light rail system later, but for now it accommodates hikers, bikers, skaters, cross country skiers, and snow showers. North Branch is committed to keep the trails, parks and recreation up as an integral part of the community.
