Osseo is a small community of just over 2,000 residents. Covering an area of 1 square mile, Osseo is bordered by Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park and is a suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul. In the last several years, Osseo has been pursuing redevelopment of buildings and properties throughout the city in an effort to continually improve quality of life.

Osseo does have its own school system with one elementary school, one Jr. High school and one high school. The Hennepin Technical College and North Hennepin Community College are only 2 miles from Osseo. However, for those students looking for a university atmosphere, The University of Minnesota is in Minneapolis and is one of the most prestigious universities in the country. Boasting a faculty of national and international recognition, the University of Minnesota offers quality education close to home and work.
