Situated in the deep south, right on the Mississippi Sound, is the city of Pascagoula. Commonly referred to as the "Singing City", Pascagoula has a rich history dating back to more than 300 years as a European settlement. Today, Pascagoula has enjoyed great maritime success as a gathering place among the nations as Mississippi's premier port. Businesses from all over the world come to the Port of Pascagoula to trade, or to build and buy ships.

This beautiful city by the sea boasts grand Spanish moss laden live oaks, and gorgeous architecture that is familiar to the south. Along the shoreline of Pascagoula, the ambience of a quaint New England fishing village is prominent. Several community colleges are in nearby Biloxi and Gulfport. If you are looking for a 4-year college, the Tulane University of Biloxi is also nearby.

Although the city of Pascagoula enjoys miles of sandy beaches allowing folks to soak up the sunshine, sportsman enjoy the fishing, and shrimping opportunities.
