Colts Neck is part of the Freehold Regional High School System which opened a new high school in Colts Neck in 1998. There are 10 local parks in the township. Colts Neck is home to Hominy Hills Golf Course which was recently ranked as one of the top 3 public courses in the country. The town is served by a volunteer fire dept. & first aid squad.
