Located in Mercer County West Windsor marks 1997 as the township's bicentennial. The Bicentennial Celebration features a plenitude of family entertainment including fireworks, tournaments and concerts. An early business in the area was Grovers Mill, a community that was made famous in 1938 by Orson Welles' radio drama, "The War of The Worlds," in which Martians were claimed to have landed on the local pond. In more recent years, the township has experienced enormous growth, with a rapid expansion of office parks, corporate headquarters, suburban developments and shopping malls. Easy access to Route 1 and to Princeton Junction train station makes it an excellent location for commuters. 1997 Avg.
