Parts of Livingston are just 20 minutes from the airport and 50 to midtown Manhattan. It is easily reached via the NJ Transit bus system as well as via routes 280 and 24 by auto.
Shopping is easy, with the enormous Livingston Mall within the town's borders and another mall nearby in Short Hills. Fortunately, large department stores have not erased Livingston's downtown, where we recommend stopping for lunch at one of Livingston's first-rate delis.
The district serves over 4,000 students in the following schools: Livingston High School, Mt Pleasant Middle School, Burnet Hill Elementary, Collins Elementary, Harrison Elementary, Hillside Elementary, Mt Pleasant Elementary, Riker Hill Elementary.
