Baldwin, New York

Population: 23,445
Located in Nassau County

Situated nearly due south of the Town of Hempstead, Baldwin Harbor's east and west boundaries are naturally defined by Milburn and Parsonage "creeks". For those who prefer just to take a stroll in the park, or sit and read on a sunny day....Baldwin offers some of the most picturesque landscapes along the shore.

Walk the paths at Silver Lake Park and stop to see Monument Square - a tribute to Baldwin's Armed Service Veterans. Or jog the lake at Loft's Pond Park. There's real scenic beauty at Milburn Pond. Serviced by two of the Town of Hempstead's more than 2 dozen parks and recreation facilities, Baldwin offers great outdoor fun at safe, convenient and state-of-the art Baldwin Park (located in Baldwin Harbor at the end of Grand Avenue) and Coes Neck Park (located at the top of Woodside Avenue).

Enjoy baseball, basketball, game tables, handball, tennis, shuffleboard, the playgrounds, tennis, the roller rink, spray pools and vita course. During July and August each year, Baldwin Park is host to the Baldwin Recreation program. Fun-in-the-sun...."Baldwin Rec" gives children an opportunity to enjoy sports, crafts, games and more, under the guidance and supervision of counselors and in the safety of our beautiful parks.
