We have public and private schools extending through high school, and a municipal golf course.

A completely revitalized waterfront still in the process of evolution and growth is making optimum use of our amazing shorelines and will be open to the general public. Currently, a high-speed ferry offers a quick route to Connecticut and a commuter route to Wall Street. We are home to LIJ-NS University Hospital at Glen Cove, and other health related facilities, as well as a home for Konica, Photocircuits Corporation and Acclaim Entertainment.
