Kenmore, New York
Population: 17,180
Located in Erie County
The Village of Kenmore, created in 1899 and located within the framework of the Town of Tonawanda, is one of the largest incorporated villages in the state. Yet Kenmore has always been known for its quaint small town atmosphere. When walking down the street, the residents often stop to chat with each other. The climate is very moderate. The large water masses of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario extend warm weather into the fall and prevent wide fluctuations in daily temperatures. There are many little shops and restaurants located in the heart of the village. Tree-lined streets and well kept homes prevail. The Kenmore School system is one of the highest rated school systems in Western New York, and there are many private and parochial schools to choose from as well. Its close proximity to many recreational sites, medical facilities, and local business and industry makes it a very attractive place to call home. One visit to Kenmore and you will understand why so many people who grew up here have never moved away, and if they did, they came back! Find homes for sale in Kenmore New York
