Caswell Beach shares Oak Island with the larger town of Oak Island. A unique blend of year-round and summer homes has created an excellent environment for a great family vacation. This cozy yet bustling town has much to offer residents as well.

The town takes its name from Fort Caswell, which was built by the Army in 1826 on the eastern tip of the island at the mouth of the Cape Fear River. Fort Caswell is now owned by the North Carolina Baptist Assembly and welcomes thousands of visitors of all denominations each year.

Caswell Beach shares the Oak Island Golf & Country Club with its neighbor, Oak Island. This makes for exceptionally beautiful building lots with spectacular views of the ocean, marsh, fairways and wooded areas. Caswell Beach not only offers an attractive atmosphere, but also a caring and welcoming community. With plenty to do and spectacular sites to see, Caswell has it all and much more!
