Welcome to the Town of Garner! In May, 2005, Garner celebrated its 100 year Centennial. Garner is located approximately 8 miles south of Raleigh, the capital city of North Carolina. With a population of over 24,000, and its close proximity to Raleigh, Garner is a place that has a small town feel with uptown access to to everything Raleigh, the Research Triangle Park, and other areas have to offer.

Garner residents can be at the beach, on the eastern coast of the state of North Carolina, in approximately 2-3 hours. They can also travel to the mountains, in the western part of the state of North Carolina, in approximately 4-5 hours.
