Nags head is home to a lovely golf course and Jockey's Ridge State Park. You can enjoy water sports and hang gliding as well as some of the best fishing in the world, both in the shallow sounds and from the beach as well as off-shore with some of the local sport fishing boats.

There are many places where you may see both the sunrise and the sunset over water in Nags Head. It can be enjoyed from your house and from miles of undisturbed beaches in both Nags Head and immediately to the south along the Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
