Seven Lakes is a private gated community nestled in the sandhills of North Carolina and just west of Pinehurst. Initial development in the mid 1970's took the form of summer homes for people in central North Carolina.

Today, Seven Lakes is a 3,000 acre, private, gated community highlighted by an 820-acre spring-fed lake, Lake Auman, the clearest lake south of the Great Lakes, east of the Rockies and north of Silver Springs, Florida. This beautiful area features boating, fishing, water sports, a private recreational area with a sandy beach, and championship golf on one of the area's many outstanding 18-hole courses, Beacon Ridge. The clubhouse at Beacon Ridge features a pool, Har-tru tennis courts, and a restaurant.

It was quickly recognized that the community had much more to offer as a permanent home, and the development proceeded as a planned home community for everyone from young families to retirees. It is currently about a fifty-fifty mix, and homes are available from $110,000 to $350,000.
